Now playing: Destiny 2: Season of the Haunted – Solstice Trailer
One of the biggest issues that fans discovered in the week since the event aired is that certain activities were not guaranteed to earn silver leaves. With patch 4.1.5.1, Bungie has addressed this issue and you can expect to get some of the holiday currency once you successfully complete a series of activities such as Sever missions, the Blind Well, and Nightmare Containment.
One of the other big fixes this week is for the seasonal hand cannon, which was completely broken when players first got their hands on it. Something New’s core perk, Dreamwork, encouraged you to team up with another Guardian to deal heavy damage to an enemy. If your teammate dealt the kill, then your hand cannon will refill with spare ammo without you having to reload.
The problem here was that the Dreamwork perk applied to your Guardian’s other weapons, regularly filling the magazines. Players had fun with this, and it wasn’t uncommon to see rocket launchers fire two explosive projectiles before needing to reload.
You can read the full patch notes below.
Solstice continues in Destiny 2 this week, and if you’re looking for some tips, you can check out GameSpot’s guide to all the rewards available during the event and break down whether it’s worth shelling out cash for the Upgraded Event Card.
