The lawsuit also alleges that both women were seriously injured after the incident — the minor suffered burns to her face and chest after boiling water soaked her clothes and ran down her body, while Davis suffered multiple seizures on the way to the hospital before being transferred to a local ICU burn unit. They are seeking more than $1 million in damages from Taco Bell’s parent company, Yum! Brands, the local franchisee and two store employees. The lawyers who filed the lawsuit also claim the video shows one of the employees flashing a gun hidden under his uniform at the two women.
