There were no winners for Tuesday night’s massive $830 million Mega Millions jackpot – setting the stage for the next drawing with an estimated $1.02 billion grand prize. The winning numbers in the last draw were: 7, 29, 60, 63 and 66. The mega ball number was 15. While no one hit all six numbers to claim the jackpot, nine Americans in six states matched all five numbers. Eight of the winners, including two in New York and New Jersey, won a grand prize of $1 million. The other lucky player hit $3 million by matching all five numbers with the megaplier. After the numbers were drawn at 11pm, the official Mega Millions website crashed. Players who wanted to check their numbers were hit with error messages from the apparent surge in online traffic. Friday’s estimated jackpot, as it stands, would be the third largest prize in Mega Millions history and the fourth largest lottery jackpot ever won in the US.
