Shortly after 7pm on May 21, police received a report that a member of staff had been assaulted at Greens Bar in Low Row.
A man had allegedly entered the venue but was refused bar service and as a result of his behavior was asked to leave by staff.

However, the man then became aggressive, head-butting a member of security, causing him to fall to the ground. The attacker then punched the victim, aged 39, before fleeing on foot. The victim suffered a broken leg, cuts and bruises to his face as a result of the attack. The incident was later reported to the police who launched an investigation. They have also released the image of a man who is believed to have been in the area near the Greens Bar at the time of the attack and could have information that can help.
