A harrowing video has emerged of a 15-week-old puppy being attacked by two dogs as its owner frantically tried to fight them off.
The shocking sight was captured on CCTV in Logan, Queensland on Wednesday afternoon, showing the woman trying to pick up her puppy and escape from the jaws of two loose dogs attacking him in her front yard.
She is heard screaming at the dogs and calling for help.
Near the end of the short video, a man can be seen running to help the woman out.
The video was posted on the Logan Community Facebook page on Thursday.
“My 15 week old puppy was attacked by 2 loose stems in our garden this afternoon,” the puppy’s owner commented on the video.
“Photos of the dogs will go in the comments… I won’t stop until they are found.”

The video received a backlash online with people supporting the puppy’s owner and questioning why the dogs were outside.
“The least horrible. Traumatic for both of you. I hope you both heal emotionally and physically as soon as possible,” one woman said.
“Tears are running down my face, how awful for this little dog and his owner…he will never be the same,” said another woman.
“Dam of irresponsible staff owners, these dogs should have been behind their own fence.”

The woman added: “Our lovely little dog was attacked by one of them when we were walking her on her leash, my husband picked her up when we saw the dog loose but she jumped and [was] he took her out of his arms. He ended up with stitches.
“Irresponsible owner left the gate open. Our little girl was so hurt we had to put her to sleep…I can’t get over it.”
Another person recounted that her cat was mauled by two dogs on her front doorstep.
“It still affects me to the point of breaking down to this day if something prompts me to think about it.”
