Then, around 5:30 in the morning, he was reported missing. one D Later, around 7 a.m., deputies with Harris County Pct. 4 The Sheriff’s Office searched the neighborhood and then searched the house. Troy’s body was later found inside a top-loading washing machine. Both Thomas and his wife were taken in for questioning after the discovery. As of Friday, no charges have been filed and the cause of death remains under investigation. According to Lt. Robert Minchew of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Troy was a foster parent and was adopted in 2019. Officials confirmed with KPRC 2 that CPS does have a history with the family.
